Payment Options for Therapy
At Indigo Path Collective, we strive to make therapy accessible while maintaining a high standard of care. We are a private pay practice, meaning we do not bill insurance directly. However, we offer flexible payment options to help you use your benefits if you have out-of-network coverage.
Option 1: Self-Pay
(Direct Payment to Indigo Path Collective)
Self-pay allows you to invest in your mental health without the limitations of insurance.
Benefits of Self-Pay:
Confidentiality & Privacy – No insurance records of your therapy.
Flexibility & Customization – Therapy tailored to your needs, not an insurance company’s requirements.
Payment Methods Accepted:
Credit/Debit Card
HSA/FSA Accounts
Option 2: THrizer
(Simplifying Insurance Reimbursements)
If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, Thrizer makes it easier to use them without the hassle of paying upfront and waiting for reimbursement.
How Thrizer Works:
Pay Only Your Copay – Instead of covering the full session cost upfront, you only pay what you owe after insurance.
Thrizer Handles the Paperwork – They submit your claims and wait for your insurance to reimburse them.
No Long Waits for Reimbursement – Thrizer advances the payment, so you only pay your portion.

Superbills for Insurance claims
If you choose self-pay and want to submit for reimbursement on your own, we can provide a superbill – an itemized receipt with all the details your insurance company needs.
How Superbills Work:
After each session, you receive a superbill via your client portal.
Submit the superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement (based on your out-of-network benefits).
Your insurance provider may send you a partial reimbursement after processing.
Tip: Contact your insurance company and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits. Some plans cover a percentage of therapy costs!
